Joel Racheff is a house musician with a regular performance at the Strater Hotel in Durango, CO.  He is also a member of the Bar D Wranglers at the Bar D Chuckwagon in Durango, CO.  He is a very accomplished musician with a long history of playing in amazing venues.

He performs a song he co-wrote with Brendan McKinney in Vale, CO.  Joel calls his version of the song, “Honey I Miss You.”  Brendan released the song as “Get Yourself Paroled.”

Joel’s sister, Micki Petit is a the only non-astronaut member of an all-astronaut band (including her husband, Don Petit) called Bandella.  This song was performed as part of the music festival South by Southwest.  The flute player, Cady Coleman, was on the International Space Station while the rest of the band was on the ground at the festival.  They worked out the delay and was able to perform the song with Cady on the flute!
